An amusing tale that taps into some disappearing features of Ozzie culture (or lack of it). Very enjoyable Doug

I think I may have submitted a story to cafelit yonkers ago, obviously not successfully, well done Doug. Loved the story, I think my sister has actually spotted one of those strange creatures in the WA wheat belt.

Thanks, Janet. Cafe Lit publish daily so it’s a bit of a lottery, depending on what else has come in recently. Try again because I’m sure they would love your work.
It’s a pity your sister didn’t get a pic; it would be worth a fortune! There have been many reported sightings in WA. Here’s a research paper on sightings up to 1998. My wife, Sue, is a firm believer that they are out there but I’ll be convinced when one is captured or found recently dead. 😉

Many thanks, Spira. Yes, unfortunately the hippysuitus lucratavus is not extinct. 😉
