A quick chuckle, and a longer and very touching piece that I wonder if it’s autobiographical.

Thanks, Liz. Not in the least biographical, I can assure you. 🙂 But the tongue-tied country bachelor falling for the schoolteacher from the city is a phenomenon I’ve seen more than once.
